Opening on 17th May 2019, the Museum of the Moon was presented at the Natural History Museum in time for the fiftieth anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, accompanied by an exciting programme of events for space enthusiasts of all ages.

By August the exhibition had become their most popular exhibit with more than 1,000,000 visitors coming to see the artwork! 80% of people on the main door of the museum, said they were coming specifically to see the moon. By the end of the exhibition in January they had seen a staggering 2.1 million visitors.
